The battle of the Crosslands was the first time an army of Daranans had engaged the Shakal in battle. The Emperor Zalord led his men into a large echelon formation that smashed the edges of enemy lines. The Shakal forces fought through enemy lines and suffered few casualties. The battle was won due to Zalords tactical abilities and his strategic skill.
