Crossmannia

Crossmannia is the capital world of the United Imperium of Crossman. It is the third planet in the Crossmanus star system. The northern hemisphere of the planet is heavily urbanized and many sprawling hive cities cover the landscape. The southern hemisphere has many large cities but is for the most part largely untouched by civilization. During the planet's early period of colonization the first Crossmanian settlers decided that a compromise should be found between nature and civilization. Due to the vast rainforests and tropical areas of the southern hemisphere, the settlers agreed to keep the south as greenspace and only a few large settlements were allowed.
