Culture of Rexxarae

Rexxarae is famous for its economical and military prowess but it is the intellectual and philosophical dimensions that truly count. Rexxarae remains a nation of philosophers, scientists, religious leaders, artists and diverse political beliefs that unite under the banner of faith and power.

Many outsiders seem to think of the residents of this country as prim and proper do-good subjects of the Islamic faith that have a highly conservative background yet fanatically communist ideaology. This is only true to some extent. Rexxareans are, in the general sense, a libertarian people and acceptive of other cultures, races, beliefs and creeds.

Despite this, Rexxarae itself displays a large sense of formality, putting a large emphasis on socio-economy and muslem nationalism. Personal wealth is considered an evil, as private enterprises are banned. The current ruling parrty, The Muslim Democratic Coalition, based it's candidency on the platform of capitalising that nation - though this had yet to happen.

Rexxarean culture is based mainly on a unique way of life way of life: religion, confidence and experience. Over 70% of the nation's citizens attend the mosque weekly, and over 30% practice all five neccesary prayers daily. Rexxarae has generally a normative western music industry, with little folk music and more current genres such as heavy\alternative\death metal and hip-hop rising.

Meanwhile, the food in Rexxarae is widely considered tasty and unique. The Rexxareans, though being a landmass nation, have a great apatite for fish, along with baked goods and potato-bread. However, Rexxarean cuisine is so encompassing that many dishes include other types of meats or meat alternatives (eggs, seafood), and a growing fusion-cuisine movement has grown, with many new Middle-east-fusion restaurants dotting the nightlife of Rexxarae's cities. As well, the minority groups of Rexxaraes have contributed their own homeland cuisines, such as the unique Rexxaraeite maple-wine.
