Daipop/"Idol" Pop
This is a music hybridized mix of standard Western pop music and Dai folk music, with the performers using a mix of electrified Dai musical instruments and Western musical setups. Songs are usually sung by one singer, sometimes with a band, accompanied by various instrunments. They are composed under the 'chorus and verse' form and are generally monophonic. Practically all Daipop songs feature a descending bassline.
