The Labor Party, founded in 2005, is one of the four largest political parties in the Resurgent Dream. It is currently the leading party in the governing Progressive Coalition. The Labor Party controls the government of one principality on its own and controls the government of another as part of a coalition. The anomaly of the Labor Party's succeeding in national elections even while failing in most principality elections is a frequent topic of theoretical political discussion in the Resurgent Dream.
Of the four major Danaan parties, the Labor Party is the furthest to the left. However, it is not as consistently leftist as equivalent parties in some other countries, such as the Pantocratorian Socialist Alliance.
