Dancing Bananland

Dancing Bananland is a small Island nation of 80 million people. Named for its national animal (The Dancing Banana) the a was dropped due to a series of misspellings during the nations finalization, however it is still prounounced with the a intact.

Although now reletively peaceful and laid back nation, Dancing Bananland has a bloody history, starting with the forceful annexation by Eastern Earl in 1972, it's failed battle for independance in 1979 (and later in 1988) and finally the collapse of the Eastern Earl empire in 2003, in whcih that countires various island nations where set loose to drift in the ocean.

Dancing Bananland's PRime Minister is TJ Ross, a laid back leftist.

It's standard terrain is temperate rolling forrested hills, although it is mroe well knwon for its mountain terrain, which is popjular with tourists. The nation has a small but well-trained army equipped with modified kalishnikovs, although plans to modernize are in the works.
