The Darian Rebellion in the Vietnamexican provinces of Daria and Muur began in May 2004 and was considered over by most experts at the end of 2005 after the leader of the Darian Liberation Front and founder of the Nubanta Militia Willi Groden was captured by Vietnamexican, Bonstockian and Little Indian forces in Daria. The rebellion drew the attention of the world by the horrific genocide by the Darian rebels against the natives of Muur. The genocide was unprecedented until the Kingdom of Hasfut slaughtered all AIDS and HIV victims in its country. The rebellion began after a mob of angry Darians killed a young Murrite who attempted to assasinate Groden. The mob soon caused a mass riot agianst Muurites and government officials in the Darian provincial capital Yentu. The roiters soon over took the army garrison in the city, with the help of Darian liberationist militants, and the now well armed rioters soon began to roam the countryside of Daria pillaging and ambushing army units in the area. Soon Darians in the adjacent province of Muur also begtan to rise up and directed their hatred at the Muurite majority. The Darian Liberation Front organized the rebels in this region into brutal fighting force, the Nubanta militia, a clandestine killing machine that roamed the province raping and pillaging Muurtie villages in the area. The Vietnamexican government sent in a suppresor force in order to squelch the revolution, however the poorly-trained army was defeated at the Battle of the Goodings River. The government after this began a no comment policy on affairs in the region. However, this all changed when a major news network, who had inserted itself into the area, recieved video of the streets of Yentu, which were covered in the bodies of Muurites while Darian rebels walked the streets armed with machettes, rifles and other weapons.
