Darryl Galvax is the acting CEO of the Hoth Manufacturing Corporation and head of state of the nation under its control, the Hoth system.

Biography

Born in London in 1972, he was raised on fish & chips and imbued with a thick British accent, which he still carries to this day. His father, Edward Louis Galvax was an architect and his mother, Betty Clara Galvax, a housewife. He was raised mostly by his mother until 1983, when his grandmother fell ill and Betty flew out to New York to comfort her on her deathbed. She would remain there for six months until her mother died of lung cancer; she had been a lifetime smoker. As a result, Darryl detests smoking still and has never smoked.

This proved to be a pivotal turning point in young Darryl's life. With his mother away, he had to be brought to his father's architecture firm on a daily basis, where he often talked with the staff and began to take a keen interest in design. In 1990 he graduated high school and went to MIT, where he received a Ph.D. in design and a degree in business. Straight out of college, he was recruited by the Hoth Manufacturing Corporation as a product designer, though it soon became apparent that his talent as a businessman exceeded his love of design, and he quickly became Chief Executive Officer. Since his appointment to the head of the company, he had taken a leading, hands-on role in design, being a major part of products such as the Model G armor system and HM90 MBT. He had also led the company into a thoroughly successful large land purchase and the establishment of the Hoth system.
