David Henry Vaqles

Our Beloved King, His Honorable Highness, King Consort David Henry Vaqles-Rastaban was the eldest son and child of the Duke of Hinode, William Ashinu Fredrick Vaqles IV, and Duchess Anne "Short Annie" Vaqles. The Vaqles family is apart of the Third House of Hashteher. Hinode is a ocean community, and the children of Vaqles spend most of their more of their time on the water rather than on land.

David wasn't the exception. Before any thought of marriage crossed his mind he was in line to become the next Duke of Hinode, often called the Straits Master. Hs father and mother both took him out to sea and taught him everything from manning a skip to sailing a ship.

At the age of 12 he was sent to the Academy Drache Magikos. There he learned the ancient Rastabite magics and improve his math and analytical skills. And at the Academy he also met the love of his life, the then Princess Julie. It took a while for the young princess to come around to David's courting but by the time they both graduated they were deeply in love. Not to long after they graduated they were married. Lord David Vaqles then became Prince Consort David Henry Vaqles-Rastaban of Rastaban. He opted to take his wife's last name as a sign to everyone how deeply devoted him Julie he was. Doing so also Forfeited his right, as well as his children's, to becoming the next Duke or Duchess of Hinode

In 1980 they welcome their first child into the world, Prince Daniel David Rastaban. They were very happy, David dreamed of having his son follow in his footsteps of becoming a master of the open water.

Again in 1985 they welcomed another child, a daughter, into their family, the then Princess Cora Julie Artemis Rastaban, who would be heir to Julie once she became queen. He also had high hopes for his daughter, wanting to see her grow up and becoming queen someday.

They didn't have to wait long to see that day come. In late December of 1985 Queen Ev'lyn V passed away and by early January of 1986 Julie was Queen Julie III making Daivd, King Consort David Henry Vaqles-Rastabn.

Happiness wasn't to last long, while visiting his family with his children and wife David took a sail boat out to sea and disappeared. A search was immediately put out for him, but he was not found. Julie nearly fell into a depression but was pulled out of his by her sister L'aura.

Several weeks later, while David's father William was walking the beach with his pet mini-dragons, black Mast and red Spits, he found his son's body upon the shore. William was sent into a deep grief and spent a year upon the seas to mourn his son's death.

The circumstances around David's death are very suspicious. Many believe that David was killed by those wishing ot seize the throne, or at least control it through Julie. It is unclear but his cause of death was marked as "unknown".
