David Mai-shirong was born in 1255 to Isaiah and Elizabeth Mai shi-rong in Junaklion, Syskeyia. A third-generation Christian, David's family had arrived in China in 1225, as a reuslt of the confusion surrounding the failed Chinese invasion of Syskeyia of that same year. As his family had been of the gentry class and attempted to continue such a life in their new country, David Mai shi-rong as fine an education as a "middle-class" 12th century Syskeyian could get, ...(more will be typed when I have the time.)
