DeAmor

The Physical deAmor

deAmor is the largest city in Josephel 2, housing almost half of its population, and is considered the richest city in the Viverian Ocean. Being in the strategic center of 6 superpowers the island of Josephel is alone a great trading center. However the island is unsafe due to the volcano (Mt. Salmen), lingering just 46 miles away (at the farthest point). Thus causing the island to become a literal wasteland numerous times, twice in recorded history, one of which killed 7 million people. But, one that should be noticed by the previous eruption is the fact that deAmor was almost completely unharmed. Except for the ash fallout it was safe. This was because of its location, hidden in a bay surrounded by moutains. Unlike Victoria City, which was engulfed in a landslide which was caused by the eruption of the volcano. Also, when a cloud of superheated ash collapsed, the pyroclastic flow, which crossed water between islands was stopped by the mountains before it reached deAmor, however many villages, towns, cities were demolished on the inland side. For this reason deAmor is one of the only places on the islands that survied the eruptions of the 1800's. Also, deAmor is placed in Victoria Bay, a strategic location where the outnumbered Josephel Fleet defeated the powerful Calmouth fleet.
