The Declaration of Federation was the declaration that gave birth to the United States of Edward City and followed the coup d'état led by Jack Hubart that ended with the House of the Edwards rule on Edward City.

History

After many years of despotical rule by the members of the House of the Edwards, a general republican feeling started within the population of Edward City. In early 1913, a group of Marines planned a coup d'état to depose King Edward II and declare a Federation and then, in July 1st, a group of Marines led by Brigadier General Jack Hubart entered the Royal Palace and captured the king. Two hours later, he started to broadcast a radio message in wich he said:

"Fellow citizens of the Great Kingdom of Edward City. Today, after several years of despotical rule by the Edwards, we are free. And by this, I declare the creation of the United States of Edward City"
