Esteban De Jesus was forced into retirement from international football at the age of 32 when Brazillico broke out in civil war and refused to field a team for World Cup 7. Over a career that spanned four World Cups, De Jesus captained two World Cup winning teams and walked away from the sport with two Gold and one Bronze medals from the NS World Cup.

Esteban de Jesus is considered by many Brazillicans to be the best player to ever come from that nation and one of the all-time greats the world has ever seen. De Jesus presented a remarkably complete offensive package, a stellar dribbler with great first touch, had the pace to lose his man and also possessed a quick and accurate shot. Though he was a natural right-footer, he could use his left almost just as well and never held back from a sliding tackle. All whoever saw De Jesus play agreed that his vision off the field was what really seperated him from the rest. A player who could create for himself as well as for others, De Jesus had a knack for seeing the play unfold before it even happened. His playmaking ability is no more evident than in World Cup 6, though the Brazillican team had no real star strikers in its line-up, it still lead the tournament in scoring.

Everything De Jesus touched as a player was gold, though he was not quite as successful as a manager. He managed the Brazillican team of World Cup 11 and the Chili Bats fell short of qualification, finishing with a record of 4-4-6. The expectations of the media and the fans for this one great team was too much to live up to and De Jesus resigned after Brazillico's first ever failed attempt to qualify for the World Cup.

During World Cup 10, representatives from the tournament named Esteban De Jesus to the All-Time World Cup first team. When he retired, he was arguably the finest midfielder and playmaker the world had ever seen. De Jesus was an integral part of the first dynasty in all of NS Sports and is very deserving of his place in the World Cup Hall of Fame.
