Democracy Hall was begun in 893 to house the Forum. It was completed in the spring of 899, and ever since has housed the Footballian Forum. In 907, it was expanded to house the offices and living quarters of the Chancellor and his family. It also contains the offices of the representatives to Forum.

Design

Democracy Hall is divided into three main areas, the Forum Hall, the Chancellor's Residence and the Forum Offices.

The Forum Hall

The Forum Hall is in the middle of the building. This is composed of two large chambers, of many rows gradually moving down towards the middle.

The Chancellor's Residence

The Chancellor's Residence is the smallest wing, located in the east. It houses the Chancellor and his family, as well as his offices.

The Forum Offices

The western part of the Hall contains the offices of the Representatives, and is the largest wing. Each representative has two rooms, a waiting room and his office.
