Seventy-two percent of the Hipolitan population is of Hellenic stock. About half of the population lives on Thanou. One quarter of the nation's total population live in Taliadoros, the capital.
School attendance is compulsory between the ages of five and sixteen. There are 210 public schools and sixty-three private schools in Hipolis catering to roughly 77,000 students. The University of Hipolis provides both undergraduate and post-graduate studies in a wide variety of fields.
