Demons are a strange species. Their appearances vary from pure animalistic to human to stuff from nightmares or even a mix of all earlier mentioned. The community of demons is different per group or clan, some choose to be hostile to humans while others avoid contact, or the opposite and seek to live among them. Each group or clan is being lead by one leader who usually receives the title "Grand Demon Overlord". Demons have longer lives than normal humans, some are even said to live forever, although there is no real proof of this.

Demons By Nation

Gurenn

The demons that live in Gurenn, have all immigrated there from Demontropius. Their population is small, and mostly concentrated in the capital. They have the same rights as humans, except when they commit a crime, if found guilty they will be deported back to Demontropius. They obey the rules of Gurenn but claim that they are ever still loyal toward the Grand Demon Overlord of Demontropius.

Luxias

Demons here have immigrated from Demontropius, on request of the Luxias government to help with the development of new ninjutsu technique's through their magic. So it is no surprise that most demons here work in laboratories or teach ninjutsu classes. Most of them live near area's with mountains, which reminds them of their homeland.

Deffice

Demons that live here, originally come from Demontropius, the ancient demon homeland. The population of demons in Deffice overshadows the amount of demons in other mainland regions. The warmer climate and the alliance between Deffice and Demontropius can be credited as the main reason for this.

Strangely enough almost all demons that live here are of the fire type, and when using their shape shifting it usually has some indication of fire, like a tail flame or hair made of fire. They mostly live on the dryer side of the country that lies closest to Demontropius, this not because they need such an environment but a much more obvious reason. When asking a male demon, the answer will most likely be "Because my wife wanted to live in a sunny and warm plave."

Demontropius

Demontropius is the homeland of all demons in Ania. The demons here appear in all sizes, shapes and colors. The most seen forms are;

  - Humanoid:  Which looks like a human with some minor differences.
  - Cat:       Which obviously means that hey have a appearance that is cat like (mostly used by females).
  - Reptiles:  Which have more reptilian features like scales.
  - Dragons:   A winged form that usually moves on all four limbs (some adaptations can move on two limbs).
  - Devils:    A form composed from different types of forms, so it could be partly Dragon, Humanoid and Cat.

But these forms do not really matter since all Demontropius demons have the ability to shape shift and change their complete form or just parts of their body's be it temporary or permanent. Another ability is that all demons controle one of the five elements; Water, Fire, Wind, Earth or Energy. The last one is a combination of Water, Fire, Earth and Wind. But the Usage of Energy is limited so not all elements can be used to their maximum potential.

Although there is an exception, the Grand Demon Overlord of Demontropius controls all elements to their full potential, and also has control over an element called Dark Energy which is a combination of the dark side of all the elements.
