Department for National Defence (Ganchelkas)
The Department for National Defence is the Ganchelkean Government Department responsible for implementation of government defence policy and the headquarters of the Ganchelkean Imperial Armed Forces. The principle objective of the Department for National Defence is to defend the Empire of Ganchelkas and its interests, it also manages day to day running of the armed forces, contingency planning and defence procurement.
The Department for National Defence is organised in Staff Departments (collectively known as "the General Staff"), three Military Departments (the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, including the Marine Corps, and the Department of the Air Force), and an Office of the Secretary for National Defence.
