The Sultanate of Deserted Territories

The Sultanate of Deserted Territories, now also known as The Sacreligiously Holy Land of Deserted Territories, has emerged from its time of depression and has returned once more to the international stage. All of its current projects will be finished and rumours have been sweeping around about a new project codenamed 'Leviathan.' Deserted Territories ruler is a mysterious figure that has frequent mood swings, is prone to jumping in over his head, and is known only as 'The Sultan.' The Sultan can be found in the capitol building or palace in Agrabah, or, during his free time, wandering the ruins of the International Empires Club

DT has developed several advanced military technologies, such as the 'Quicksilver' Orbital Weapons Platform, and the STB-3 'AuroraStrike' Supersonic Torpedo Bomber. Newer additions are the 'Bismark' Class Battleship and the 'SteelBreaker' Anti-ship Un-guided Rocket System (still in development).

"Quicksilver" Orbital Weapons Platform

Deserted Territories scientists stumbled upon this extroadonary invention while trying to develope the latest in communications disruptions. They originally set out to create a system that could neutralize any communications or defense systems (such as AEGIS). But during the first test of the satelite, the ship they were testing on (a 9.5 thousand ton Ticonderoga class cruiser), and its crew of 364 men, was completely vaporized, nothing was left of it but a cloud of white smoke. The current demand for satelite based weaponry is on the rise and the Quicksilver device is much more effective than other popular space weaponry platforms. The satelite can be launched on any satelite dispatching rocket that conforms to its dimensions. This makes it a highly compatible weapon that even the newest nations can succesfully launch. Making this a great investment for any nation, big or small. And trust us, it is a conforting feeling to have this angel of death floating above you, waiting to follow your every command.


Dimensions and Specs.

The Quiksilver orbiting weapons platform consists of two solar panel wings and a main bdy strucure. The body itself is 8 feet wide, and 43 feet long. It weighs 10,000 lbs. The device is completely sheathed in faceted black carbon-fiber panels doped with metal paritcles to scatter and absorbe radar beams as effectivly as the skin of a stealth bomber. Despite being invisible to the naked eye in space (it is black) it is invisible across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Quiksilver was desgined to be effective against the AEGIS system, as well as other defense systems. The quiksilver orbital weapons platform stays in constant two-way communication with its operating center using the MILSTAR satelite system. This communications system is easy to find, or manufacture youself, and is surprisingly hard to hack compared to its simplicity. Of course, Quicksilver can be formated to connect to any communications system (satelite or not) you prefer.

The intial energy beam cast from the platform is a concentrated beam of ionized electrons that melt the air and surounding particles into liquid fire. It appears to be silvery and molten. The beam is started high in the furthest reaches of the atmosphere, the platform uses its fuel cells and solar energy to fire a small and concenrated laser beam supplied with iron particles. These melt in the beam as it hits atmosphere and start a chemical reaction. This then starts a chain reaction the the initial laser feeds. As the beam travels through the atmosphere, it melts down the particles in the air. These then for to make a column of superheated molten paricles that can burn through many feet of steel, concrete or any other type of armor plating. When this molten fire cools, the paricles separate and are burned into ash from the lingering heat. The platform is not revealed (in any fashion) until seconds before the device activates. When activated it hits an area of about a 15 meter diameter circle. The beam is extremly powerful and this force is capable of shooting thousands of tons of machenery several meters into the air. But the magic of the Quicksilver platform does not lay in the initial burst, but rather in its elecromagnetic discharge. After firing the ionized air begins to build up huge static charges. These then shoot off in every direction for several miles. These tendrils of lighting have the capability of knocking missles out of the sky, and jumping 5 mile gaps to hit other targets. However, these dicharges cannot be controled, the targets hit by the discharge are completely random, though conductive things tend to get hit the most. This secondary discharge can be considered more effective than the initial blast, as the tendrils of lighting streak out for miles on end. But it is only one of the many features that makes the Quicksilver Satellite Platform stand far above the rest.

Due to its desgin, it is almost immpossible to hit it with a missle that uses any kind of guidance. It cannot be traced and it cannot be seen. The only way we know its there is the constant two-way communications it keeps with its operating center. These stealth features are bound to be a valuable asset when it come to protecting your investment.


The platform is designed to use natural orbit. It is released 200 miles above the planet, where its orbit can be adjusted. It carrys one large thruster powered with fuel cells. The platform carrys enough fuel to last it 3 years, and prmarily gets its energy from its solar pannals. It is easily accesible for maitenence, and is built to last for several decades before it needs replacment or repair. It is designed to follow calculated trajectory couses to utilize as little fuel as possible when manuvering in space.

Todays ever increasing demand for space age weaponry is bound to birth several types of military satellites. Some of them you already own, some of them you will own. But the Quicksilver Orbiting Weapons Platform is, and will remain, the best investment you can make in the satellite weapons field. Because you can always rest assured when there is ten thousand pounds of molten fire ready to vaporize your enemys at any time of the day or night.

STB-3 'AuroraStrike' Supersonic Torpedo Bomber

The STB-3 is the newest in DT technology. Basic rundown (more later, i wrote all this up and accidently closed the window, i'm too tired to write it all up again, so i'll just out the basics):

"Bismarck" Class Battleship

When DT revamped its navy and started to build it up seriously for the first time, military specialists called for a one-of-a-kind ship that was both powerful and inexpensive. the answer came in the form of the "Bismarck" Class Battleship. Named, designed, and inspired by the infamous Nazi battleship, The Bismarck. The DT version is the same shape, style, length, and all, only with a slightly deeper draft. This is because its armour was beefed up, new systems were installed, a faster engine built for it, and bigger, better guns were affixed to its decks.

"SteelBreaker" Anti-ship Un-guided Rocket System

Designed and used exclusivly by the DT army and homeland secuirity force, the "SteelBreaker" Anti-ship Un-guided Rocket System was designed as a cheap way to thwart enemy anti-missle and anti-torpedo technology. The rocket launcher is roughly the size of a samll desk, and is mounted on treads. The soldier manning it can steer it as one might steer a self-proppelled snow-blower. The on-board computerized range-finder and sight are handily availible and the soldier uses them to aim at the ships. Once released the rockets fly straight to their target, without anymore steering assistance. The rockets can fly up to 4 miles, at the end of which flight they explode, depending on the claculations submitted by the computer at launch which uses the range-finder results and updated weather conditions to set the fuse. This simple, computerized system allows for rapid, successive fire; nearly one discharge every 3 minutes. When the rockets explode, they can in three different ways, depending on the types of heads they have.

Anti-ship D warhead: Standard explosion; designed to damage ships Deck, armour, and guns.

Anti-perssonnel warhead: Flak explosions; designed to cut down troops on deck or waiting in landing craft.

Anti-ship H warhead: Underwater explosion; designed to fall short of ship and explode against its Hull.

This is a very effective device and is standard when it comes to beachhead defense. It also can be modifyed to sit on ships decks, for use in ship-to-ship combat.
