Desol

Desol continues the aridity of it's northern neighboour, Kallendor. The population is very low, with only 2 settlements of any reasonable size (Mirage and Oasis Springs). Desol is also one of the most barren and unforgiving parts of Tundra, with perhaps only the Waltripian Highlands more desolate. Desol is famous for only one thing, and that's the Dunes 5000, a 5000-mile race that goes all over the state and into neighbouring T Stewartland for at least 3 days. Retirements are common, as an average of 80% of the entrants retire.
