The Federation of Developing Malaysia is one of the many nations in The North Pacific. Founded in January, 2005 by James2spooky.
10th of April, 2005: The Federation of Developing Malaysia is a huge, devout nation, notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its compassionate, cynical population of 200 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Education and Law & Order are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 45%. A large private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.
Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Developing Malaysia's national animal is the Tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Ringgit Malaysia.
