Title Grand Duke Dimitri Timor Grigorin Kris Vyarin I, Vityaz of Vityaya, Ritter von Riga, Turcopole tes Talsi, Master of the Imperial Armigers, High Chancellor of the Leutestag, Skymarshall of the Vexian Air Force and Supreme Sealord of the Fleets.

Dimitri Vyarin, was born the 12th June of 1990 of Ulli Vyarin, later to be Emperor of Vexia, and Helena Vyarin, a socialite and secretive political manipulatrix.

In 2005 he took the throne, ostensibly under the guidance of the pro-NBC Leutestag. However, the infighting, corruption and devestating effects of War had left the Leutestag disunited, dissolute and effectively completely unable to run the country, much less control an extremely ambitious and above-average mature young man,who was guided by his ruthless, equally ambitious and incredibly clever mother.

The Death of his father and the "Troubles" that followed had left Vexia bankrupt, in ruins, and its people scattered, the Armed Forces the only institutions that had any real order to them. However, freedom of choice had never been big in Vexia, and, using the Armed Forces as a prod, Dimitri Vyarin began the long uphill struggle to reunite his divided nation and to restore it to not just its former glory, but to surpass his father's meagre achievements.

Early in 2006, he was able to direct his forces to invade Balspania/Barcelon with a Joint NBC-EECN Taskforce, and recapture lands ceded to Balspania in 2005 as part of the Treaty of Vityaya. Balspania had fallen far from favour in the months following that, and Vexia's new Grand Duke was determined to rise far. Ostenibly oweing allegiance to the Empire of Marsden III, the most prominent figurehead of the Neues-Berlin Compact, Dimitri Vyarin, like most of the Compact's heads of state, pursued his own agenda relentlessly, and slowly, despite some disastrous mistakes, began to learn the subtle Art of Diplomacy needed to forge Vexia's path to Prosperity.

Throughout 2006 and onwards, he instituted a series of dramatic, sweeping reforms known as the "Thirty Step Plan", which reformed vast swathes of Vexian society, government, economy and millitary organization. Always a chaotic mess, Vexia for the first time had true order. The massive conscription of everyone into a job of some kind aided his plans greatly. However, in order to achieve true economic prosperity, the Grand Duke was forced to make grave concessions to the emerging Corporate Middle Classes, who rapidly and greedily created their own Ogliarchal domains over various aspects of the Vexian Economy.

These Monopolists were not constrained by the business laws and human rights codes of the West, and they soon began to prosper, exploiting ruthlessly the indoctrinated and hungry masses of Vexia in the name of their Grand Duke. However, they found that their otherwise awesome economic power was severely hindered by Vyarin's Secret Police, the Judicators, and by the almost crippling demands for millitary hardware, ammunition, and vast quantities of war material.

Dimitri had an all-consuming ambition, which was to reunite Vexia completely, and give her an ultra-modern armed forces comprising of Navy, Air Force and Army, all of whom were capable of fulfilling the Vyarin Dream of a Baltic Empire ruled from Vityaya.

After years of effort, The diplomatic battle with Krivichistan really began in earnest, and it rapidly became clear that the belligerent neighbouring power would return Latvian/Vexian Citizens, but not an acre of land. Tiring of the game, and, sensing an opporunity with the onset of the Nikolaykrainian Civil War and strife in the Black Sea, Dimitri ordered the full-blown invasion of Krivichistan, leading to the Vexio-Krivichi War.

After three months of conflict, Dimitri emerged the victor, and now he stands proud over a united nation. But one thron remains in his ambitions to recapture the power and wealth Vexia held in the 17th century. A sizeable force of the supremely powerful Hellenic Confederation occupies Saaremaa, an island he effectively gave to them in a "Bases for Resources" deal known informally as the "Disastrous Accords", given the sublimely inequal return for such a strategic concession.

If the Grand Duke is ever to be truly worthy of the tital of Vhorenian Emperor, Dimitri must retake Saaremaa, and begin to expand the Vexian Commonwealth's Empire ever Eastward...
