Lord Dio, is the only male child of Grand Duke Gil-galad, the late Emperor Atan's younger brother. Therefore, until the Empress Ishtar bares a child, preferably a son, Lord Dio is the heir to the empire. He is one of three possible men who may oneday marry Ishtar, when she comes of age, 19. Lord Dio also is one of the few im-Bashi associated in government. He is the Grand Magistrate, he is the personal representative for the Empress and the im-Bashi dynasty in government.
