Dodran

The dodran has been the currency of the The Principality of Elstree ever since its independence from Britain. It got its name from the mane of the lion, Elstree's national animal.

It was originally weak, compared to the powerful currencies of many other nations, mainly due to the isolationist policies and closed economy. Ever since the country's integration to the international scene, the dodran has been gaining strength, and now rivals the world's most valuable currencies, having left the dollar behind several years ago. The exchange rate, as of December 2006, is $2.8038 USD = $1 dodran

The symbol for the dodran is Ð, and its abbreviation is ETLN.
