Overview
The Empyrean Society of Doujin, or Doujin, is a massive conglomerate of thirty-six socially progressive states on a mainland continent, and several smaller territories and provinces throughout the world. The Empyrean government is Imperial in nature, with Empress Ki'atra having final say over anything within the mainland nation of Doujin and all its territories. However, the citizens are represented through a republic-based electoral system with elected representatives serving in the Unseelie Courts.
Doujin, with its massive size, has remained a powerful Imperial state. The nation's fiscal policies are conservative, believing that minimum government intervention is required in economic needs. The people of Doujin themselves are more conservative - in that they believe in strong defense, free market, personal responsibility, and individual liberty. But socially, the people of Doujin are rather liberal.
The culture and tradition of Doujin is protected by an incredibly powerful military - one of the best equipped in the world. The Navy is the key part of the Doujin military, as the mainland continent of Doujin is surrounded by water. Due to this, there has always remained a love for the seas by both the people and the military.
