Draconic

Introduction

Draconic is an ancient language spoken throughout the region of Merthnonn. Its ultimate origins are unknown, but it was brought to Merthnonn by the Lishtani when they migrated there. It is a formal language, used on special occasions and in literature. It is the main langauge used between the various nations of Merthnonn, but it's use for this purpose is slowly being usurped by English. Most of the population of Merthnonn knows at least some of it. The Lishtani are most easily able to learn it, a simpler dialect, Low Draconic, being the main langauge of that country.

The Draconic alphabet consists of 22 consonants(t,p,c,d,b,g,th,ph,dh,v,n,m,ng,r,l,y,w,s,z,sh,zh,h) 6 vowels(a,e,i,o,u,œ) and two semi-vowels(R,L) (this article is not yet finished)
