Realms in Drakonia function quite like independent state. While the Imperial Government regulates commerce, mutual defense, education, justice, and a few other areas (like environment protection), the Realms are fully responsible for their own governing. Each realm has its own parliament, which is answerable to the Drakonian Imperial Senate and to the Drakonian Praetorship.
