Dras are a species native to the Leninist Dynasty, especially to the icey wastes of Post-WW3 Russia. They are related, but inferior to dragons, being only about .5 - 1.5m tall. Two different types of Dras are known to exist: The smaller, light blue colored Skythdras, which are adapted to cold areas, and the larger, red and black colored Deadras, which do also live in cold areas, yet they have an elemental affinity to fire. Both types of Dras have distinct means of self-defense (and attack, since they are predators, that will also attack humans): Skythdras whip their opponent with their long, powerful tails, and can also shoot horn blades from the end of their tail with deadly accuracy. Deadras shoot bigger blades, shaped like sickles. They can also breathe fire. Dras can fly, and prefer to do so when moving around. A dragon might only fly over extended distances and move on the ground when moving over shorter distances. A Dra always flies and only rests it's wings when asleep. They can also hover in mid-air on one spot. It is also characteristic how they fly: Opposed to several dragons species, Dras do not have front legs. These are replaced by the wings. Thus, while a dragon keeps all his legs hanging down while in flight, a Dra straightens his body, looking almost humanoid when in flight.
