His Excellency Comrade E El is the ambassador of the People's Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia to Tanah Burung. He is considered one of Ariddia's key diplomats abroad, amongst the wisest, most experienced and most trustworthy. He is occasionally called upon to represent Ariddia's voice in countries in Tanah Burung's vicinity.

Born in the Ariddian capital city Rêvane, El is an Indigenous Ariddian (Wymgani), and places great importance in his cultural roots. He was raised amidst a Wymgani urban community, but his parents took him frequently to visit rural relatives more in touch with ancestral traditional practices.

El studied history at the University of Rêvane, and graduated with the highest honours, then chose to enter diplomatic service rather than continue his studies. He rose quickly in the ranks, and, when offered a job as ambassador, requested to be assigned to a fellow Third World country. His hope was to help solidify ties of friendship, mutual understanding and solidarity between Third World nations, and it was he who signed the Matebian Declaration (in Tanah Burung) on his country's behalf.

E El is an ageing man with greying dark brown hair and the brown skin characteristic of Wymgani people. He has never married, and has no children.

Tanah Burung also maintains an embassy in Ariddia, headed by Ambassador Jose Dias Kahn.
