East Berlin is the capital and seat of government of the Democratic People's Republic of Zadania. Prior to 1949, the region consisted of the Soviet Sector of Berlin. Zadanians call East Berlin just 'Berlin' or sometimes 'Berlin, Hauptstadt der DVZ' (Berlin, capital of the DPRZ).
