East Dannistaan is one of the constituant states/Ti'vol'ron of the Confederacy of Dannistaan. It is known for being the technological powerhouse of Dannistaan and the people are known for prefering to be on the technological cutting edge.

History

The present state of East Dannistaan was formed from land settled upon by the tribes of the eastern part of the island. The tribes in this part of the island were known for being hostile to the other tribes on the island and in some cases to each other. The tribesmen in this part of Dannistaan were also known for their ferocity in combat and their willingness to try untested new weapons to keep that edge. The actual tribes seemed to have descended from a group of outcasts from tribes in the central and southern regions of the island. These members consisted of those who were thrown out of their tribes for various reasons, from petty crimes to serious breaches of tribal law. These outcasts became known as the "Fallen Angels". According to legends, they made their last stand against a bunch of tribesmen wanting to bring them to justice at the location where For'af, the State Capital and the second largest city in East Dannistaan now lie. The people of East Dannistaan are viewed as a bloodthirsty unsociable people who want to exact revenge for the many perceived injustices brought against them. The biggest of these being the acceptance of guilt for starting the 1982 Civil War.

Although it is accepted that the East Dannistrian State Government (Or rather significant elements within it) started the Civil War, what is still disputed is to what extent were the people responsible. This has and still is the cause of major tensions between East and North Dannistaan, who still see East Dannistrians are being untrustworthy individuals.
