The Kingdom of Edenburg (Spanish: Reino de Edenborgia; French: Royaume du Edenbourg) occupies much of the Northern Iberian Peninsula-in the Western Mediterranean and the area adjacent to it immediately north of the Pyrenees Mountains. The Kingdom also comprises of the Islas Baleares (Balearic Islands) in the Mediterranean and Islas Canarias y Madeiras (Canary and Madeira Islands) in the Atlantic Ocean off the Northwest coast of Africa. Edenburg shares a border with Saganda, New Kingman, Kaik, and Cogigotosum on the West, North, East, and South in that order. The country also borders the Atlantic Ocean, the Bay of Biscay and the Mediterranean Sea.

Edenburg is a constitutional monarchy and unified state composed of several historic regions or Provinces that constitute many formerly independent kingdoms including Castile and Leon, Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia, Navarre, and Aquitaine to name a few. Edenburg also has one protectorate called Al Andalus on the Arabian Peninsula bordering the Red Sea. Edenburg is a highly developed and modern country with an excellent mixed economy boasting the 6th highest Gross Domestic Product per Capita in the Mediterranean. Edenburg is the founding member of the Iberia League, which has it's headquarters in Merron. The country sits on the Executive Board of Oversight for the Trans-Mediterranean Railway and is a member of the Mediterranean Economic Community. The Kingdom is also one of the region's major nuclear powers.

History

rendicion.jpg Edenburg has existed as a unified state since the several kingdoms of the Northern Iberian decided to unite of the monarch which they all inherited. The two most powerful kingdoms that comprised Edenburg were Castilla y Léon and Aragón. Both Kingdoms had already built empires, Castile already having conquered Galicia, Asturias,Leon, and the Canaries. While the Aragonese held part of Valencia, Catalonia, the Balearics, and the Basque regions straddling the Pyrenees. When the Monarchs of these two Kingdoms married, their offspring would eventually inherit a vast empire that would later become Edenburg, which went on to conquer Navarre, Aquitaine, and Rousillon Languedoc.
