This resolution and the Free Education resolution are both misclassified, but both resolutions date back to a period when the UN proposal queue was not regularly screened by the moderators. The resolution called upon nations to recognize the right children have to be education, but did not include a social mandate that this education be provided at government expense. The Human Right category would be more appropriate than the Social Justic category. The Free Education resolution, which followed this resolution, calls upon nations to provide a social service, namely a free education. This would be an example of a Social Justice type of proposal, but the resolution was misclassified as a Human Rights proposal. Neither resolution should be used as a guide to appropriate categories nor as an example of how to structure a proposal.
