History

Until the Fourth century, Ekoz didn't exist. In the 4th century AD, Aquos's eastern frontier islands along the Rinae Coast, were overrun by Tomastic tribes, principally the Ekostas, from whom the ancient name of "Egoské" was derived. The modern name "Ekoz" derives from the name of the feudal domain of the Capetian Kings of Ekoz around Carnise. The Ekostas' were the second tribe among the Tomastic conquerors of Scarpathia after the fall of the Sculisian Empire to convert to Protestant Christianity rather than heretical Arianism (their King Kelvis did so in 498); thus Ekoz obtained the title "Youngest daughter of the Church" (L'unérei de la Séurs), and the Ekoz would adopt this as justification for calling themselves "The Protestant Kingdom of Ekoz".

As of the 10th Century, Ekoz had been a quiet nation. In 903 AD, Ekoz had it's first referendum. It was a Monarchy and then became a Republic. This was made sure of in Ekoz has the king (King Enri) has beheaded in the city centre of Carnise. From then on, Ekoz has never been able to decide what type of Government it was. It has been a Republic ,8 times, and a Kingdom, 10 (To modern day).

In the 17th Century, Ekoz was alongside the Earthsea banned the Slave Trade. They were among the first nations to do so. In history it says that Earthsea was the first nation to, although Ekoz stopped it 2 days before. Ekoz also benefited from the Industrial Revolution as they helped defeat Retron. Ekoz was supplied with many fossil fuels and oils.

From the 19th Century, Ekoz switched from a Republic to a Monarchy, making it the last switch to this date. Ekoz had a Head of State- Prime Minister type of Government which was abolished in 2007. Ekoz was most successful at it's Music and Theater, winning the Scarpathian Theater Award for the 21st time.

In history, Ekoz has been a multicultural country with many different nationalities but in recent years, the nationalities have de-creased.
