As a result the water will slowly lose energy, that's when the generators kick in to change the angle of the incline to cause the water to race along a 3 mile strip to the other side. Once again powering the turbine generators, this process is repeated over and over until a change in tide occurs. Low tide will suck the water back out and high tide will allow it to be refilled and continue the process.
