Investimenti Conpopolare d'Elementa, or Elementa (PAX800: E) -- English: Element Agglomerated Investment Banks -- is Pacitalia's fifth-largest chartered corporate bank by assets and value. It has 8,970 branches in Pacitalia and another 611 worldwide, including 398 in Euroslavia. Through its marketed name, Elementa, it operates personal/retail and automated banking services for nearly 600 million individual accounts in Pacitalia and six other countries.

History and background

Elementa was formed in 1992, the youngest of the Big Five banks, as eighteen small credit unions earned charter-corporate bank status and merged into a single unit to compete better against the bigger banks in Pacitalia. Their service-first strategy, and their unique corporate management policy is widely admired. In that policy, every employee receives 100 free shares in the company, and this incentive has proven to improve customer service and employee care about the corporation's public face. The bank's ideology of "Customers first. Always." has also attracted many customers away from competitors BM, BNP Paribas, Pacibank and ABNAmro.

Activity

Market capitalisation and asset holdings: Elementa has always been one of the top five Pacitalian banks in terms of market capitalisation since its inception in 1992. The totals currently stand at about Đ43.89tn (real). With 607.4 million individual accounts, there is an average of Đ72,258.81 in available funds per account, second among Pacitalian banks. The value of the company itself stands at about Đ256.3 billion.

Employment: Pacibank employs 45,629 people full-time at three corporate headquarters and 8,970 branches.
