The State Political Directorate is the secret police of the Empire. Im-Mire has done very little, realistically, in assuring the State Directorate’s influence over other political administrations. The [[Tomanian Imperial Security Bureau|VSV]]  makes it very clear that they do not trust or ‘respect’ the State Directorate. Director [[Claritia Eärfalas|Eärfalas]] finds this the State Directorate,  “[Another] useless body of government, the VSV is the police, the VSV will, and shall, ensure the continuous security that our Grand Empire has endures these past decades.. what can the State Directorate achieve that is not within our power?” Needless to say, Colonel im-Mire and Director Eärfalas are at odds with on another.
