When the Prophet declared that his youngest son Cameron would be the first Emperor of the Empire before he Ascended to Yellow Heaven the nation (at those who had converted to The Way of Peace) cheered and celebrated the new heir. Everything that Cameron I (the Founder) did became the basis of the nation itself. Cameron gave the offical name of the Empire "Khallayne" after his mother Khallayne and wife of the Prophet. Emperor Cameron named the first Imperial Dynasty "Jiao" after the Prophet's last name, Emperor Cameron also announced that The Holy Order of The Way of Peace would be the State Religion, Cameron tried to negoiate peace with the various Lunar and Solar cults that had dominated the religious scene before but there would be no peace. So the Emperor in the twelfth year of his reign issued an Imperial Writ that banned all other religious organizations (other than The Way of Peace) from the Empire on pain of death.

Emperor Cameron ordered the Imperial Tradition of keeping the private history of a ruling monarch in the hands of the Imperial Family and would only allow scholars to publish the events that occured in his life after his coronation. A few rogue scholars attempted to defy this Imperial Tradition during Cameron's reign and were burned to death.

The Emperor named the new captial city where he was coronated "Amberyl", the Old Khallaynan name for the old Ambernost Empire, and he lived in the Oakwood Palace, which burned to the growned sometime in 200 N.E., the location of the Oakwood Palace in moderntimes is the eastern portion of the Imperial City.

Emperor Cameron had amazing longevity as his reign lasted from 5 N.E. to 101 N.E. (81 years).
