Imperial History

After Prince Theolloryn killed the Baron Ismin, the last contender for the Golden Diamond Throne the Blood Uncle of Pradian the Weak ascended the throne as Theolloryn II. Theolloryn II during his first ten days of Emperorship announced the true end to the Garnet Dynasty and declared his near-extinct family, the Pesaro's the new Imperial Dynasty of Khallayne.

During Theolloryn's reign the bankrupt and famine ravaged and war-broken Empire was recontructed from the ground up, it was during Theolloryn's reign that contacts with the outside world (mainly Imperial China) were made in order to sell treasures from the Imperial City to help pay for the costs of the War of the Five Kingdoms and to rebuild the broken Empire.

Theolloryn II was also a wonderful father to his five children (four boys and one daughter), the Emperor was known to indulge almost all of his children's wishes and desires. But for the good fortune of the Empire the Empress managed to enforce her iron will in order to keep her children from becomming spoiled rotten by the well-meaning affections of the Emperor.

The arts and high culture were promoted by the Emperor, but not as strongly as during most other reigns as the Emperor was known to say, "When trying to rebuild a broken nation, one cannot worry about new styles of eating daintly with a salad fork." and it is believed that what little cultural promotion and interest the Emperor had was in fact the Empress's doing.

When the Emperor Theolloryn II died he was replaced by a most worthy sucessor, Empress Morgan II (The Wise).
