King En-Ur-Kish VIII. I-Moodam was the King of Atheninyara 2939-2960 ONA (Of New Age) .He was the nephew of En-Melugabal V. I-Moodam .He had instituted the murder of Enmelugabal's three sons En-Men-Bakbal,En-Kin-Kumu and En-Anga-Kish,so as to secure the throne for himself.He ascended the throne,officialy under the regency of his aunt,Queen Elugkugaba I,who had died 9 years later.The Queen was replaced briefly by her second husband En-Mer-Kaggi,yet the regents power was all but nill. En-Ur-Kish defeated several rebelions against his reign,however in 2960 he was ousted by his lesser wife, Queen Elugbaba,who put their own,second son En-Mer-Anga-Kish IX. I-Moodam on the throne .The King was not killed,but put under house arest,living the end of his life peacfully in the section of the Royal palace entrusted to him,dying in 2964 ONA.
