Beginings
In the early 1950's, people all around were unfortunatly extremely serious. The minority of funny people in the world were forced to go underground. The most organized of these groups was the "English humour preservation society," based in London. In 1965, this underground group left on a pirate ship (in full pirate regalia, mind you), and traveled into the unknown. In 1967, the group only consisted of 108 healthy people, and 56 mentally insane people who thought they were pirates. Luckily, in December of 1967, they found land. The land they found was a large island in the Atlantic Ocean. It was aproximatly the size of England. It was later found to be the remants of the island Atlantis. The group set up a colony, and grew up to the size of 5 thousand people. A group of the smartest wrote a constitution in 1974. The people ratified it in 1976. The country was now known as "English Humour."
