Engul joined Nationstates in May 2007, and hours later joined the region Great Britain and Ireland. The exact joining date is May 10, 2007. His region has not once, left Great Britain and Ireland, since joining in May and plans to keep it that way for a long time.
Shortly after joining the region, he was called upon to be Director of Immigration. Though, this did not last long, due to the House calling a vote of No Confidence on the Prime Minister, and then shortly after the Prime Minister resigning. Not long after accepting the position of Immigration Director, Engul was asked to be UN Affairs Director, which he still fulfills.
In the General Election in of July 2007, Engul and King John of Gililand has the same amount of votes, meaning that a by-election would called by the Prime Minister, who at that time was Fenchurch. Even though, Engul lost the by-election, The Dart who was elected a Member of Parliament, resigned, leaving a new seat open. The Prime Minister called another by-election, and this time Engul successfully won, finally giving him a seat in the House of Commons.
Not that long after being voted into the House of Commons, Engul was asked by the Prime Minister Fenchurch to take over the Home Secretary position. He honorable accepted and joined the Cabinet.
