Eriburn
History
Eriburn is a small Democratic-Socialist nation located within the Region of Your Father's Mustache. It was formed many years ago. Originally, it was a member of another region, but very soon joined the region of Your Father's Mustache.
The power struggle to make Eriburn was a relatively painless ordeal for the people of Eriburn. Once the Eriburnian Socialist Party seized control of Eriburn in the so-called "Espa Revolts", they elected the ESP Military Commander Vittorio "of Eriburn" to the place of Dictator. Once in power, he quickly instilled a reign of oppresion on his people. The reason for this reign isn't officially known, but it is thought that during his early years, Vittorio was controlled by the corrupt party members.
Eriburnian Purge
During the past few years, Vittorio of Eriburn has begun to purge the oppressive ways of his Socialist Party from Eriburn. Such acts as a Social Security Net, a build-up of the military, reduction of inflation, an introduction of healthcare, the right to vote, and other "Benevolent" additions to the government.
During this time, he also began to "incapacitate" many of the Socialist Government leaders, and instill his own people into office. Some of the new cabinet members were like-minded to him, while others had the democratic sense of being of different ideals to Vittorio himself.
Geography
Military
Military service in Eriburn is compulsory. All men between the ages of 18-30 are required to serve for 10 years. Children that so choose may enroll in the Eriburnian Military College, which they enter at age 16, and graduate at age 20. This is the way that many of the officers of the military become officers.
Branches of Military
The USSE Military is made up of the Eriburnian Army, Eriburnian Navy, Eriburnian Air Force, Eriburnian Army Airbourne, Eriburnian Special Forces, and the elite Eriburnian Marines.
Ranking Structure
The Military rank of the Eriburnian Armed Forces is set up to be equivalent across all branches of service.
USSE Army
The USSE's Army is the backbone of the Eriburnian Armed Forces. It consists of many of the tanks, troops, and weapons that the USSE has. It also contains the USSE Royal Engineers, and the Corps of Producers, the military-ran factories which produces all of the weapons for the USSE.
Cities
Euphanthion
Euphanthion is the capital city of the USSE. It is a great center of power for Eriburn, dating back to the days of the settlers that came to Eriburn. Euphanthion in located on the Southern Coast of Eriburn, and is known as "The Coastal Capital" to the people of Eriburn.
The population of Euphanthion makes up about 35% of the total population of Eriburn, with about 68,000,000 people. It is dominated by the central port of Eriburn, which warehouse district is large enough to store much of the supplies necessary for the running of Eriburn. It is also guarded by the powerful, destructive Eriburnian Rail Gun Coast Guard. Which is a system of 105 coastal railguns that keep any enemy forces from reaching Eriburn's shores.
