The EthaniCard is a contactless card, utilizing RFID technology, which can be used to pay for the different forms of public transportation in Ethania.

Usage
The EthaniCard is a rechargeable cash card that can be used for Ethania's:
- Bus system
- Ethania Metro
- Taxi system
- Gas stations
Types
There are three different kinds of EthaniCards:
- standard (gray)
- student (green)
- seniors (blue)
Fares are calculated depending on which card you own.
Funds
The card can be reloaded at any metro station or gas station in Ethania. If a cardholder goes over his or her funds in the card, he will be warned when he uses the card by a minor electric shock. If he or she continues to use the card, his or her card will be shredded the next time he slides it through the Ethania Metro turnstiles.
