The EIA or Ethnemka International Airport, when completed, will be a feat of engineering in every respect. The idea being that this structure would be built on top of several buildings in downtown Ethnemka. The idea was originaly though up by several technicians in the Smith & Deiters Construction firm, the idea was also though up by the CFO of Navi Inc, and by the Minister of Science. The idea would be put off for a while, till at a meeting of the the government has with corporation, the idea was brought up the the representatives from Navi, and seconded by the reps from S&D. But their plan would be cut short because of the Riegaban Civil War.

Post War

During the war it was deemed nessesary by the commander of the forces from Buben (whom were defending Ethnemka) that they needed to bomb four buildings that the rebels had fled into, needless to say, they were totaly destroyed, as well as 8 buildings surrounding them. It was decided by the Minister of Science after seeing the destruction, that the airport should be built on the buildings after they were rebuilt. It would serve a great purpose with foreign affairs also because the fact that the buildings in question happend to be the Grand Ministry, and the Foreign Embassy building.

Basic Information

The airport will be located downtown, and will be perched on top of 12 buildings, 11 of these buildings are the buildings in the Grand Ministry (note, if you add the number of ministries that are located you get 13, this is because three of the ministries are located in the same building, Commerce, Trade, and Treasury). The 12th building is the embassy building, this building houses all foreign embassadors and their associates. It will also rise to a heigth of 1164.8 feet, excluding the tower which is an additional 208 feet tall. Let it also be known that, as some may realise, 4 blocks is not long enough for a runway, so for this matter, the runways are being extended out over several more buildings, this also includes taxiway.

Construction

As of yet construction has not begun as the site is still being cleared of rubble.

The General Plan for the airport can be seen below.
