European ethnic groups are those ethno-cultural communities descended or largely descended from European peoples. Because of the nature of fractal reality, this term also encompasses those peoples who, while not historically connected with any continent of Europe, are effectively the equivalent of European peoples. Although an exact census is impossible, it is estimated that a majority of the Nationstates population is ethnically European. However, ethno-cultural identity is a highly subjective matter.
