The Rage Empire of Evil Vertigo is a huge, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its cynical population of 654 million (As of March 2nd, 2006) are ruled by the sympythic left-winged government, which ensures that no-one inside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; this is because the government genuinely cares about its people.

The small but growing government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. The average income tax rate is 20%. A small but healthy private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

A large-scale revitalization of the education system is underway, local executives are seen on the corner with cardboard signs reading "will respect the masses for food", The political band Rage Against The Machine is the biggest thing around, heavily influencing the government and people like a religion, though it is not worshipped, space shuttles regularly land on the new moon base, and artists are pillars of society. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Evil Vertigo's national animal is the mosquito, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the lizard. Evil Vertigo is currently tring to improve the civil and political rights of its citizens. Also, Evil Vertigo is a staunch ally of enviromentists and spend an amazing amount of lizards ($$277,548,798,106.94 as of April 10th, 2006) on the protection and matenance of the enviroment.

Evil Vertigo is mostly Muslim due to the land being part of the Islamic Empire looooooooooonnnnnnng ago. Evil Vertigo has, sence 5 years ago, united all Muslim lands in the region. (See map.) However, a Tibetian Buddhist communitity is peacefully growing. A small Satanic group has gained hold in Evil Vertigo due to prolonged exposesure to LeVeya, a satanic state.

The Blackcoats

In the 1970s, this group started operating in Rammsteinburg. Evil Vertigo did not notice or care, until two bombs blew up a school and a local community center. A letter found in the police office's mailbox said the The Blackcoats claimed responsiblity and threatened worse if the people participated in the coming elections. However, the police later found The Blackcoats base of operations in Evil Vertigo and, after interrogation, the survivors were hanged. After that, a huge line of bombs went of across the country until the elections were over and Zack de la Morello was the new Rage Emperor, when the bombs suddenly stopped.

The Wars of Long Knives

When the Umayyads and the Abbasids split in 750, a little province became independant. It remained Muslim. The years wore by and the boundries of the nation extended to the extent that it was to be desired. In 1942, the Westren Allies wanted the land's oil. They organised a coup that would overthrow the government. It happened, and a puppet capitalist government was set up. However, the gap between the ruling class and the common people grew to be so large there were none in the middle. Then, Rage Against The Machine gained popularity. It spoke to the people and against the capitalists. Seeing the Muslims and RATM fans a threat, the government inposed a ban on them. The Muslims revolted and finally succeeded when the ruling elite fled the country, vowing to return. Evil Vertigo was then created after the First War of Long Knives. Evil Vertigo grew even more, having the problem with The Blackcoats. But then, the Western Allies and capitalists invaded. They burned, pillaged, raped, and killed their way throught Evil Vertigo. They hunted down the population, letting "Koreans" (see Diamond Bar) lose. When The Black Hawks finally came to aid, there were only half a million people left alive. And so, after the Second War of Long Knives, Evil Vertigo has had a greatly diminished population.
