The Region of Extreme Championship Wrestling is a NationStates role playing wrestling region. It is part of the NWA Wrestling Brands. the other brands are NWA Sunday Night Heat and TNA Wrestling Impact. Extreme Championship Wrestling was created in the summer of 2007.
Extreme Championship Wrestling is assgined role playing nations from NWA Headquarters and NWA Board of Directors. It has its own PPV region, ECW PayPerView where its PPVs are held monthly.

HistoryExtreme Championship Wrestling started as ECW Extreme under the leadership of Paul-Heyman in early 2006 to rival New Breed of ECW. However in September 2006, ECW Extreme became Extreme Championship Wrestling to become an official member of the NWA. Now Paul and TNA Management co-own ECW while TNA Management works on Extreme Championship Wrestling daily, Paul Heyman has compelete control of booking the pay-per-view. The current ECW World Heavyweight Champion is Shawn Michaels HBK after beating Brock Lesnar at ECW re-birth Pay-Per-View Anarchly Rulz. The NWA Undisputed title both men's and women's currently belong to ECW as The Great Triple H and The Diva Trish Stratus are the represtivatie champions. New Raw invasionAt the Halloween Havoc pay-per-view which is held by Monday Night Raw some ECW wrestlers when in the crowd holding signs to provoke the Raw superstar and the rumours were flying that this was planned by TNA Management to get Easy-E Bischoff attandation in order for him to show up at the November to Remember at this point there will be no Raw vs. ECW Pay-Per-View. Trish to be ECW World Champion?The Diva Trish Stratus the first woman to win all of the NWA Women's titles in a matter of weeks beating LuFisto for the NWA Women's Championship, Mickie James-TNA for the SNH Women's Championship, beating Victoria-ECW for both the ECW Vixen and NWA Undisputed Women's titles. At this point she remains undefeated at this time in fact she was given a new challenge by TNA Management to become the first diva to win a men's title so far she defeated SABU-TNA in a Extreme Rules match and she defeated SANDMAN-TNA as well and she is now challenge for the ECW World title. |
