F/B-4 Phantom III
The F/B-4 Phantom III is a development of the original F-4 Phantom II. Despite its designation and name, it was put into production long before the F-4X Phantom II was even designed. Phoenix Dynamix initiated the F/B-4 project before the aircraft division was even fully operational. It was put off several times but was finally released in late 2003. The F/B-4 Phantom III fills the gap that was left in between the FB-111 medium fighter bomber and the F-117A strike/attack aircraft. The F/B-4 can carry more bombs than the F-117A, but is still smaller than the FB-111. It is also better at defending itself than either aircraft since it can carry up to 12 air-to-air missiles. The F/B-4 Phantom III matches or exceeds the F-4-2000 SuperPhantom(which the F/B-4 is not based on, though the F-4X is) in air to air capability and more than doubles the bomb carrying capacity of the original F-4 Phantoms. While slightly slower than the F-4X, it is still a Mach 2+ class aircraft and can outmaneuver Vietnam era fighters and most newer attack aircraft.
