The Facist-Confederalist Party of Graham and Palmer is the majority party in Graham and Palmer.

Ideology

The ideology of the Facist-Confederalists is strongly strong pro-facism, pro-socialism, pro-confederalism. It calls for each region to completely self-govern and each to streamline together when in time of need, and a strong leader to lead each, as well as courts and senates to determine the leader's job, but not too much. The final piece of their ideology is a government that will help the people when they need help.

History

Founding and Rise to Power

Founded by Pablo Dyego mere days after The Ciudad en el Hielo Center Square Riots and Bombings, on January 3, 2024. They immediately gained a large base in Ciudad en el Hielo, calling for "National order and security.", booting out the Red-Greens from their main stronghold since their conception. They soon gained popularity elsewhere, and were stopped only by a last desperate joining of the Conservitive-Capitalists and the Red-Greens into the Labor Democrats. During the elections of spring 2024, they gained a huge majority in the Senatus (in Graham and Palmer, legislative elections aren't staggered, and are even the same year as federal ones, so it is possible for a complete revolution in just one election), and the regional senates of Tierra del Feugo, Graham, Palmer, as well as the counsil of Ciudad en el Hielo. Dyego becanme chansellor on April 1. 2024.

Constitutional Amendments

The largely Facist Senatus approved a total of ten amendments to the Constitution of Graham and Palmer, that radically changed the political system, into a more authortarian and confederal one. They passed in the required regional senatuses, and on December 25, 2024, called by opponents the "Black Day", they passed, and took effect the next day.

The End of Seperatism

Ever since its less-than-willing annexation to Graham and Palmer in the aftermath of the Second Faulkland War, the Republic of the Faulkland Islands courted had with idea of sucession for a long time. Though the idea of the RFI leaving Graham and Palmer never came close to being accepted among the general public, favor for seperatism ran high in the RFI. With the advents of the new amendments, however, the RFI gained levels of automony that it had never before seriously dreamed of reaching. Subsequently, support for the Facist-Confederalists exploded in the small republic. Having ended the threat of a sucession and third war over the islands, power for the party seems as if it will last for years to come.
