Economy

The economy of Farbanti varies greatly, but most of its wealth comes from its location. Not only is it important because of its industries, which produce over 1/3 of the nation's gold and silver, but because of its importance as a trade and commercial city.

It is an important asset in trade because of the extensive shipping netowrk located in the city. Two seaports, two airports, five freight railways, and nine highway all service the city, making Farbanti the second most important port city on the continent, behind St. Ark

Radiation

However important Farbanti is to trade, it is still one of the most important military locations on the continent, and the presense of millions of people in the city has not stopped the myriad of wars and battles to be fought inside the city itself. In fact, on June 25, 1982, Farbanti was one of twelve sites on the west coast to be nuked. After this event, the ground was heavily radiated, and most of the infrastructure was destroyed.

However, this did not stop development, and on January 1, 2000; anti-radiation technology became possible. All areas within the Farbanti city limits are clear of any radiation, and are safe, however, all areas within a 70 km radius of Farbanti are still radiated, and one must remember that if they travel to Farbanti.
